Our Ornamental Pheasants

(a few short film clips)

Click on the picture or the description to see the film. These are very short and can be seen on "Windows Media Player". To make the file small enough for most viewers to be able to watch we have had to make the size of the film very small. If you double click the film it will fill the screen although the quality does deteriorate.

a white eared pheasant

Our White Eared Pheasants are always impatient when it comes to feeding time.  They like their peanuts and mealworms best and don't like to wait for them.
One of our Siamese Fireback pheasants giving us a short display. These birds do enjoy showing off.

a temminck's tragopan pheasant

This film clip is one of our Temminck's Tragopan cock pheasants who shares his pen with a Siamese Fireback hen. They get along fine together but it is not always easy to mix different species of pheasant. There would soon be trouble if I added a mate for either of these birds into their aviary.
